Has Contract ("we," "us") analyzes contracts and similar documents that you upload, and tells you about the risk it finds. This page explains what data we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Apple and choose to share it.
• The documents you upload, and the text extracted from them.
• The analysis results generated from those documents.
• Basic usage data (which screens you visit, when you upload or run an analysis) used to operate and improve the product.
• Subscription status (which plan, renewal date) if you subscribe to a paid plan — billing itself is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your card details.

How we collect it

Directly from you, when you create an account, upload a document, or contact support. Automatically, through standard application logging, when you use the product.

Who we share it with

We send the text of the document you upload to Anthropic (the Claude API) in order to produce your risk analysis. Anthropic processes this content to generate the response and, under our agreement with them, does not use API content to train their models. We host our application, database, file storage, and authentication with Supabase. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store, with subscription status synced via RevenueCat. Each of these processors is contractually required to protect your data to a standard equal to our own commitments in this policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not send your name, email, or any other account identifier to Anthropic along with your document — only the document content needed to produce the analysis.

Every use of your data

• To generate the risk analysis you requested.
• To operate your account (authentication, storing your contracts and analyses so you can return to them).
• To process and verify your subscription, if you subscribe to a paid plan.
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the product (error monitoring, basic usage analytics).
• To communicate with you about your account or respond to support requests.

We do not use the content of your documents for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Your choices

You can delete a contract and its analyses at any time from your account. You can delete your account entirely from the app's Account tab, which removes your documents, analyses, and account information from our systems.

Has Contract provides AI-assisted risk analysis and information. It does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Consult a qualified lawyer before making an important decision based on an analysis.
